Certification Course
Student will receive
an introduction email from their assigned professor with syllabus and course requirements.
Certification
is 2 months long.
Classes are
on campus or online. 4 classes, 3 hours long each class
2 projects / Practicum
(Essay format with organizational letter of experience). Total of 24 hours.
Course Description
After the student has completed the course successfully with a B+ or higher, the student will receive its Chaplaincy certificate within 35 business days.

- Chaplaincy Ministries
- Pastoral Ethics and Rules/Regulations
Completion and granting of credentials
Upon receiving the Federal background check clearance, and completing all the certification requirements, and complying with all organizational requirements and interest of becoming a Chaplains of Florida member, the student will receive ID of membership and organizational badge.
If background check is not provided nor cleared, student will not receive credentials nor membership to the organization.
Definition of Membership – The membership is defined as being part of the faith community of Chaplains of Florida. It entails a spiritual covering, pastoral care, and access to mentorship by the Chaplains of Florida community.
